Shirley MacLaine was savoring the good life this week when she was spotted enjoying a martini at lunch.
The 89-year-old acting legend was spotted dropping by Kristy's Village Cafe in Malibu with a younger female aide for the drink and a bite.
Shirley held on to the woman's wrist as she departed the restaurant, but she was still walking on her own two feet.
The Apartment star stays active with outing in the seaside town, and Kristy's appears to be a favorite spot for her to unwind.
She was dressed casually and comfortably for her day on the town in a red, purple and yellow striped sweater and pale lavender sweatpants.

The acting legend — who is less than a month from her 90th birthday — was spotted dropping by Kristy's Village Cafe in Malibu with a younger female aide for the drink and a bite
She matched her shirt with a pair of comfy red clogs, and she brought a slim dark handbag with her.
Shirley kept herself out of the sun with a lavender visor to complement her pants. Though she had moved on from the iconic pixie cut that she wore in several of her early classics, she still kept her white hair on the short side.
The screen icon completed the casual look with a set of large red-frame sunglasses with a modest tint.
She appeared to have a reservation, as she was seated at a table with a small 'Reserved' sign resting on it.
In addition to her meal, Shirley received what looked like a martini in a stemless glass, while a glass of white wine also sat on the table.
She seemed to be in high spirits, and after wrapping up lunch she was spotted leaving while grasping her aide's arm and chatting with the woman.
Shirley's astounding run of screen credits goes all the way back to 1955, when she made her debut — in one of the lead roles — in Alfred Hitchcock's black comedy The Trouble With Harry, though she had already become a Broadway star with stints in Oklahoma! and The Pajama Game.
'I was this little pixie out of the chorus that didn’t know what I was doing,' she told W Magazine in 2017. Although she later came to believe Hitchcock was more focused on casting ideal actors than shaping their performances, it worked out for her because she was 'perfect for that character.'

Awards bodies agreed, and she won the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Actress for The Trouble With Harry.
She had a one-two punch that same year when she had a major romantic role in Frank Tashlin's classic Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis comedy, Artists And Models, in which she played Jerry's bumbling love interest.
Despite a run of hits and classics in the 1950s and '60s — including Some Came Running (1958), Ask Any Girl (1959), The Apartment (1960), The Children's Hour (1961), Irma la Douce (1963), Sweet Charity (1969) and Two Mules For Sister Sara (1970) — it wasn't until the 1980s that she won her only Oscar in the Best Actress category for the beloved romantic dramedy Terms Of Endearment (1983), which costarred Debra Winger and Jack Nicholson.
The hit film also won Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor for Nicholson.
Although Shirley's pace has slowed somewhat in recent years, she still averages about a film or TV role per year.
Her most recent appearances were a two-episode guest arc on the acclaimed comedy Only Murders In The Building from 2022, and last month she starred in American Dreamers with Peter Dinklage, though the film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022.
While speaking to Extra last month, Shirley revealed her surprising plans for her 90th birthday.
Afterward, she and her aide were spotted leaving the restaurant, which she regularly visits for lunch

In March, she told Extra that she'll be celebrating her 90th birthday 'on a set' in Atlantic City, as she's still keeping up with acting
Rather than having a big blowout, she said she would be 'be on a set' in Atlantic City working on her next project.
That work ethic has kept her active in Hollywood for nearly seven decades, but she admitted that things just aren't like they used to be.
'The glamour’s gone out a bit, I’m afraid,' she said of Hollywood and the changes that the rise of streaming services has wrought on it. 'I think it’s entirely different…'
Shirley, who made her film debut six years before her younger brother Warren Beatty had his debut in 1961's Splendor In The Grass, is often in Malibu, but she also splits her time at her ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico, about an hour's drive north of Sante Fe.
